Who I Am
Healing Within is a solo private practice in Pleasanton, California. All counseling services are provided with complete confidentially, care, respect, and non-judgment. As an independent practice in Pleasanton, it is imperative that I provide the most pragmatic and effective solutions to treat mental health disorders or enhance your life as a licensed marriage and family therapist and licensed professional clinical counselor. Furthermore, I have provided individual, couples, and family therapy services since 2011, including treating child and adolescent behavioral disorders.
At Healing Within, you can rest assured that you will leave with an enhanced sense of self and hope for the future, regardless of your mental health condition, social issue, or physical health problem. This is due to possessing training in various empirically-driven approaches, such as cognitive behavioral therapy and solution-focused brief therapy. I treat anxiety and depression, ADHD, autism, have experience with military families, and with children and adolescents, and am specialized in Health Psychology/Behavioral Medicine, i.e. eating disorders, psycho-oncology, chronic pain, women's fertility issues, grief/loss, and stress/anxiety management.
What I Do
I also provide several counseling services, including child, adolescent, and family therapy and specialize in health psychology/behavioral medicine. My initial assessments are thorough. I collaborate with other professionals as applicable, for example, having evaluated bariatric surgery candidates, written emotional support animal, top surgery/hormone therapy, and surrogacy, egg or sperm donation letters, working with the county, UCSF psycho-oncology, and eating disorders clinics. In addition, at Healing Within, you will receive specialized, holistic, and effective treatment in the Tri-Valley or beyond. Moreover, I am equipped to see vaccinated clients in person or virtually through a HIPAA compliant and encrypted platform.
